Mackerel Eyes

Mackerel Eyes is the first solo release from Peter Michael Norton. Across nine tracks Peter plays bass, organ, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and sings lead and backing vocals. With a variety of genres and players, Mackerel Eyes is Peter’s most ambitious musical release to date.

The second album from The John Ballantyne Group features Peter as the writer/ lead singer on four songs (“Band Aid People”, “On My Way”, “Paradise”, and “Something to Prove”), the writer for one song (“Soul Food”). He also provides backing vocals on “Quintessentially Cinderella” and “Private Eye”, plays synthesizer on “Paradise”, plays drums on “Back to Nowhere”, and plays bass across the whole album.
